Shree Basaveshwar Sugars Limited is a company registered under company’s act 1956 by the registrar of companies. It has established sugar industry consisting of 3500 TCD Sugar Plant,26 MW Co-generation plant, and distillery plant is under construction at karjol village, Tq & Dist:Vijayapur-586108. (Karnataka state). The sugar cane is the raw material for manufacture of sugar which is obtained from agriculture source.
The industry is located in the rural background region of the state and has created direct employment to 450 people & indirect employment to 10,000 people through sugar cane Harvesting and transportation work and other seasonal contract works.
